The Night at the Ball.

The girl, unseen, would oftentimes try to captivate the attention of her parents. She would succeed only in rare, fleeting moments and so she would spend most of her time in her room. She would jump up on her bed and close her eyes. When they opened she was being accompanied through the most illustrious ball, where she was seen and she was loved by everyone.

The Night at the Ball is the 5th in a series of 5 Limited Prints. The series portrays the junction of loneliness and imagination.
